BW Offshore has agreed another short-term extension for its floating production vessel Sendje Berge off Nigeria while it negotiates terms for a longer deal.
The company has agreed to extend its deal with Addax Petrolum until the end of Q1 2014, having previously agreed a three-month extension in April this year.
“The extension has been agreed to secure operational continuity while joint work to detail longer term program for investment and production is completed,” the company said in a statement.
The ship has been under contract to Addax since being inaugurated in March 2005, only the second FPSO the company contracted in Nigeria.
