Lancaster-based engineering firm First Subsea says it has landed a new deal to provide subsea mooring connectors for the Heidelberg development in the Gulf of Mexico.
The deal with Technip will see the firm, which has offices in Aberdeen, supplying connectors for Anadarko’s 23,000-ton truss spar platform.
“This is our tenth spar mooring project for Technip,” says First Subsea managing director John Shaw,
“The speed and ease of the Ballgrab connection is well proven in a range of industry-leading, deepwater projects in the Gulf of Mexico.”
