Hallin Marine has secured a deal to install new control taps and a bypass for the main gas line to Java.
The deal will see the energy services firm working on the pipeline which supplies 60% of Jakarta, along with providing full diving services with the Ullswater subsea vessel.
Hallin said they would also send their Carlisle diving suppor vessel to Java to assist with the work.
“Hallin won the contract on the basis of its successful track record as an experienced offshore support service-provider and the company’s knowledge in managing this type of project scope in the region,” said chief executive John Payne.
