Norwegian drilling firm AGR has signed a two-year deal with BP to continue providing services for the oil giant in Azerbaijan.
The contract extension will see the drilling solutions company extend the placement of its staff and equipment in Baku to provide its Riserless Mud Recovery and Managed Pressure Cementing systems.
The undisclosed deal is backdated to January 1, and comes just days after the company signed a £13million deal with Statoil for its new pressure drilling system.
“We’re delighted with the extension of the contract which fits in with our long-term goals regarding our continued growth in the Caspian.
