Struggling Norwegian oil firm Noreco says the Oselvar field is back on stream – but says it is still strugging with production at its other projects.
The Oselvar field, around 160 miles south of Stavanger, had been shut since June after maintenance at the Ekofisk and Ula fields, followed by further delays at Ula last month.
The field, operated by Dong Energy, finally came back on line at the weekend.
However, Noreco’s other projects remain limited by production problems. The Huntington field has increased production despite technical problems with one of the gas compressor trains, while the Lulita field is shut in due to an unsuccessful repair of a shutdown valve at the Harald gas line.
The Enoch, Nini, Cecilie and Nini East fields are all offline after being shut last month for maintenance and technical issues, limiting the company’s output to just under 3900 boed.
