Petrofac has secured a $300million deal to provide duty holder support and operations services for EnQuest’s North Sea assets.
The five-year deal, which replaces the previous duty holder agreement the company had with EnQuest, will see Petrofac providing services for the Heather, Thistle and Northern Producer.
It will also support the EnQuest Producer floating production vessel, which is set to be deployed on the Alma/Galia project.
“We have enjoyed an excellent and mutually beneficial relationship with EnQuest for several years now and we are delighted to be able to continue to support them with this operations and maintenance package both on existing assets and as extended onto new assets,” said chief executive Ayman Asfari.
“We recognise that operators are increasingly looking to assume more responsibility for their own assets and we are committed to supporting our customers not only as Duty Holder but in due course, by responding to their strategic aims and supporting them through the transition to greater autonomy when the time is right for them.”
The two contracts will see Petrofac provide operations and maintenance support, along with technical servies including logicstics, IT and emergency response systems.
