Reef Subsea has reorganised its business into two divisions as part of restructuring overseen by new chief executive Duncan MacPherson.
The Norwegian energy-service group said one of its new units was focused on integrated subsea projects and the other on dredging and excavation.
Reef Subsea Integrated Projects merges two previous divisions, Reef Subsea Power & Umbilical and Reef Subsea Norway, to provide subsurface installation, inspection and protection services to clients in the oil and gas and offshore renewable-energy markets.
Reef Subsea Dredging and Excavation, which was already part of the Reef Subsea group of companies, has been restructured to manage two defined regions: Americas Asia-Pacific and Europe Middle East Africa, including operations in Aberdeen.
The restructuring is expected to help Reef Subsea become more competitive in its core markets.
Mr MacPherson, who took the helm at the group on a permanent basis in June after a spell as acting CEO, said: “We want to be able to achieve our vision of being the leading subsea service partner to energy and construction companies worldwide.”
