BG Group has sold off its remaining stake in a LNG regasification plant in Chile for $176million.
Enagás bought the gas giant’s stake in the plan in two tranches, with the first sale in September 2012 for $176million and the remaining stake last night, bringing in a combined $352million for BG.
The deal, part of BG’s portfolio rationalisation, will not impact on the company’s contracts to supply LNG to the Chilean market.
