The Press and Journal’s Energy editor, Jeremy Cresswell has praised this year’s Offshore Europe 2013 as “the best that there’s been.”
But he questioned the increased presence of politicians at the event – the last before next year’s independence referendum.
“I have to confess that the last time, and I think the time before, I paid hardly any attention to the main conference programme – I thought it was very poor. This time it’s excellent,” he said.
“[Webb] told me many months ago that he would try and change it.
“I think he has and I think he’s done a terrific job.”
