Offshore engineering firm Kentz has landed two deals in the UAE worth around $18million.
The company, recently a takeover target for Amec, has picked up two engineering, procurement and construction deals in Abu Dhabi.
One will see them replacing the control systems and instrumentation at the Habshan oil field for Abu Dhabi Gas Industries, while the other is for an unnamed new client in the Emirate.
“Repeat business is a key aspect of our business winning process and a further award from GASCO demonstrates our ability to achieve this,” said Kentz global business COO Tush Doshi.
“We look forward to working with the new client’s team and beginning this new relationship with them. As outlined in our interim results, EPC continues to afford us a lot of opportunities across the world and our strategic changes to this unit are showing results with these further contracts in the Middle East in addition to the recent awards in Southern Africa.”
