International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has added a new partner to its corporate and energy team in Aberdeen.
Arran Mackenzie joins the company, based at the Prime Four Business Park, from Burness Paull, bringing with her a 15 year track-record of doing deals in the global energy hub.
She has extensive experience in the onshore and offshore sector, and has recently been involved in renewable energy transactions, including offshore wind.
Other sectors she has worked in include transport, food and drink, and retail.
Ms Mackenzie has a wide range of corporate and corporate finance skill, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments.

Addleshaw’s Aberdeen office is enjoying something a growth spurt currently, and now has more than 24 people led by four partners – David McEwing, Ross McKenzie, Fiona Kindness and Arran Mackenzie.
In August the firm added managing associate Jennifer Cham and legal director Gemma Hills to its corporate team in Aberdeen.
And in September Ms Kindness joined the team from Pinsent Masons.
Since moving into its Prime Four base in 2019, Addleshaw’s energy team has had a hand in some of the biggest Scottish deals.
In the last year alone, the Aberdeen office has advised on local, national and international matters for North Sea players including BP, Dana Petroleum, Trojan Energy and Waldorf Energy.
In 2022, Addleshaw reported record results, with global revenue up 18% to £377 million and income in Scotland enjoying a fifth consecutive annual double-digit increase.
