The Korea-Indonesia Offshore Research Cooperation Center (KIORCC) is promoting collaboration between South Korean and Indonesian companies to develop LNG infrastructure facilities in Sulawesi to support the government’s plans to make use of gas as part of its energy transition strategy.
Cho Ilhyung, CoDirector of KIORCC at said at the “Makassar Investment Forum 2022” on 8 November that there are opportunities for collaboration between South Korea and Indonesian companies in the areas of investment, transfer of knowledge, capacity building and technology in the LNG infrastructure sector in Sulawesi.
