Keppel Shipyard has secured two floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) conversion contracts from repeat customers.
These contracts are from SBM Offshore and M3nergy Offshore.
Keppel’s new conversion for SBM is the FPSO for the Stones development in the US Gulf of Mexico. The vessel will be able to process 60,000 barrels of oil and 15million cu.ft of gas per day.
Keppel Shipyard’s second contract is from M3nergy Offshore to convert a tanker for the Bukit Tua field. Capacities will be 25,000bpd of liquids and storage of up to 630,000 barrels.
