Aberdeen-based oilfield services group Expro has landed a clutch of new burner boom deals with rig builders Keppel worth around $20million.
The contracts will see Expro providing burner booms for projects in Brazil, Mexico and Kazakhstan, including 100ft booms for new semi-submersible and jack-up rigs.
The contracts, which will start this month, are due to be delivered by 2017.
“These contracts will allow Expro to strengthen and develop our existing relationship with Keppel FELS,” said Expro director of equipment sales John Loafman.
“The contracts also represent a solid footing for future growth in Asia – a major regional market for Expro.”
