The gas turbine services division of Wood Group has won a multi-million dollar turbine maintenance contract with Talisman Sinopec Energy UK.
The five year contract covers support services for 22 Siemens Ruston gas turbines operating on the Buchan, Clyde, Tartan and Flotta installations in the North Sea.
Wood Group GTS will provide contract management services, preventive maintenance, 24/7 technical support, unplanned breakdown support, and engine supply and overhaul services.
The deal extends the 10 year turbine fleet maintenance contract between the two companies, due in November this year.
