An Aberdeen engineering firm has landed a multi-million pound deal to provide deep water engineering for Italian oil giant Eni.
UniversalPegasus has secured the three-year deal with Eni to carry out global deep-water services, with project management being run from the company’s UK office.
The deal will secure 40 new jobs in the region for the firm, managing director Gavin Stevenson said.
“As we look to capitalise on the many fresh opportunities which are being presented to the company, this contract ensures we are in an extremely strong position, both in the UK and overseas, to help drive the firm toward the aggressive growth targets set for 2013 and beyond,” he said.
