Energy services firm DOF Group has landed global contracts worth almost £500million.
The Norwegian company, which operates a large base in Aberdeen, has struck deals in North America, Asia and Europe, along with landing five contracts with Petrobras to support services in Brazil.
The deals take DOF Subsea’s backlog to a record £3.4billion, and also see them enter a time charter agreement with Technip for its new Vard 800 vessel.
“I am very pleased with the awarded contracts and the all-time high back-log,” said DOF Subsea chief executive Mons Aase.
“This ensures high earnings visibility for the DOF Subsea Group over the next three to five years.”
The company will operate five ROVs for Petrobras over the next four years, with an option for a further four, with three operating from DOF vessels.
DOF will also operate a contract for the Norwegian Coastal Administration to inspect the keel of a wrecked World War 2 submarine.
