More than three-quarters of senior executives in the oil and gas industry fear independence for Scotland would lead to increased taxation and regulation for the sector.
However, the study, by EY and the Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce, found that more than half of those surveyed believe the current debate over Scotland’s future was having no impact on North Sea investment.
