An app aimed at allowing operators remotely influence the design of power plants and mines won a major technology award.
Aveva’s E3D Insight picked up the innovation award at the UK Tech awards.
The app links partners in power plant, processing plant or mining industries to view designs from a tablet device and contribute to the design process.
“We are honoured to receive the UK tech innovation award amongst such a strong group of finalists,” said Aveva chief executive RIchard Longdon.
