Keppel and the National University of Singapore (NUS) are setting up the Keppel-NUS Corporate Laboratory, in collaboration with the National Research Foundation (NRF), Prime Minister’s Office, Singapore.
The lab will be based at the NUS Faculty of Engineering, will be set up with a purse of $60million (S$75m). There will be three main research thrusts, future systems, future yards and future resources to meet the future challenges of the offshore industry.
Keppel has been working closely with NUS Engineering for over 10 years in offshore engineering and is the first local company to establish a lab of this scale with a Singapore University.
