Engineering services group Bilfinger has landed a £200million deal to extend its support for Statoil’s North Sea operations for the next two years.
The framework agreement will see Bilfinger providing maintenance for oil and gas platforms across the North Sea, along with onshore facilities in Norway.
“The contract extension is a confirmation of the trust that Statoil has placed in us,” said Bilfinger’s Pieter Koolen.
“We have achieved this success not least as a result of the relentless focus of our staff on the highest of safety standards.”
The agreement includes providing surface treatment and insulation for the faciltiies, as Bilfinger looks to increase its oil and gas operations.
