An Aberdeen-based provider of learning courses for the oil and gas industry has struck a three-year deal with EnQuest for its management training programme.
Mintra Training Portal – a joint venture between Norwegian firm Mintra and Aberdeen investment company Enerco Venture – will deliver e-learning and classroom training for over 200 industry-related courses to the operator’s onshore and offshore workforce in the North Sea.
“We deliver over 500,000 industry courses for up to 300 oil and gas companies every year,” said Peter Conner, Mintra’s managing director.
“By providing the single source point for training selection, procurement and implementation, we are able to identify gaps and then access, develop, deliver, administer and manage training for all personnel across a company, bringing significant gains in terms of cost effectiveness and competency.”
“This series of contact wins we have secured in recent months has ensured that our growth has been both rapid and sustained in line with our ambitions.”
The company said it had doubled its employee numbers in the last 12 months following £12million worth of investment from oil and gas contracts.
