The Huntington North Sea field has returned to full capacity after being blighted by a summer of technical setbacks.
The field, which was shut in over safety fears earlier this year, had been forced to work on reduced capacity since September.
Issues with BP’s Central Area Transmission System, which carries natural gas from the North Sea to the Teeside processing plant, saw output cut around 17,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day.
Field partners Iona Energy confirmed production was not a full capacity from the field, which sits around 200km east of Aberdeen.
“Outside of a brief period of disruption during extreme weather conditions between December 5 and December 7, the Huntington reservoir and floating production storage and offloading vessel have continued to perform steadily,” the company said in a statement.
