Dolphin Drilling has landed a £150million contract from Chevron to carry out drilling across the North Sea.
The 20-month deal, starting from 2015, will see the Blackford Dolphin carrying out multiple drilling and completion work across Chevron’s UK North Sea operations.
It also includes a refurbishment of the rig to upgrade it for North Sea work, with the option to extend drilling by up to two years.
