International oil and gas facility provider Petrofac has won a five-year umbrella design and engineering services contract in Malaysia.
The firm’s Malysian-based engineering services business – Petrofac-RNZ – has been awarded the contract by Petronas Carigali.
The firm will provide a range of multi-discipline consultancy and design services for Petronas Carigali’s assets in the region. Work will be carried out by task-force teams from Petrofac-RNZ’s engineering centre in Kuala Lumpur.
“This award by Petronas Carigali provides us with an excellent foundation to continue growing our local engineering capability,” said managing director Craig Muir.
