Wood Group Mustang has appointed Christopher Barton as its senior vice president for global offshore business development.
The US subsidiary of Aberdeen-based energy services giant Wood Group, provides project management, engineering, procurement, and construction services across the globe.
The firm said Barton will lead the division’s global business development team in implementing the strategic growth plan.
“Chris is an industry veteran with a proven track record in business development, who is well suited to take our offshore business to the next level globally,” said Wood Group executive vice president Michele McNichol.
“I look forward to working with Chris and his team in developing new ventures.”
