Kazakhstan-focused oil group Max Petroleum has come up dry in its latest well on the Sagiz West field.
The firm said it had failed to make a find on the field after drilling the SAGW-11 appraisal well.
The well has now been abandoned, with work now switching to SAGW-10 – one of three wells left to complete on the field appraisal programme.
