Aberdeenshire energy firm Proserv has won two major contracts in the Gulf of Mexico worth around £10.5million.
The first contract, with Noble Energy, involves Proserv assisting with the development of two deepwater wells at the Gunflint field in the Mississippi Canyon.
The firm will provide its fibre optic Open Communications Hub technology for communication from below the surface, as well as the manufacture and installation of seven subsea control modules for both wells.
Under the second contract with Talos Energy for its Phoenix Field development in the Green Canyon Block, Proserv will provide control systems for three wells as well as a subsea distribution system.
