A training course on offshore decommissioning activity has come back due to popular demand.
The two-day course promoted by trade body Decom North Sea will take place on February 26 and 27 in Aberdeen.
Decom will deliver the programme in partnership with training company Decomareus, co-founded by ex-BP decomissioning assurance manager David Hoare.
Decom introduced the course to give an overview of offshore decommissioning activity, set to be worth £1billion per year.
It is aimed at anyone working in, connected to or with an interest in decommissioning, including operators, contractors, regulators, NGOs and the financial services sector.
Brian Nixon, Chief Executive of Decom, said: “We were thrilled with the early reception to our course and look forward to growing our reach this year as we expand to other parts of the UK.”
