Stork and Amec have secured an extended deal to provide integrated services for Shell’s North Sea ONEgas assets.
The five-year deal, which includes an option for a five-year extension, comes after the joint venture’s success n providing services for the last decade.
The contract, which also includes Dutch engineering firm Jacobs, employs around 1250 people and involves providing maintenance and modifications to the Bacton gas plant, the Den Helder gas plant in Holland and 54 offshore assets.
“The expertise of Stork and its joint venture partners in the field of oil and gas is one of the key success factors for this contract,” said Stork chief executive Arnold Steenbakker.
“The contract extension demonstrates the confidence in the continued successful cooperation between AJS and ONEgas.”
