Oil companies will still feel resentment over a failure to address controversial changes to the bareboat tax, a leading finance expert has warned.
Chancellor George Osborne failed to address the cap on bareboat charters despite industry lobbying when he delivered his Budget speech this afternoon.
Oil firms were offered a new allowance, however, to help with developing high pressure/high temperature fields on the North Sea.
