An Aberdeen-based well engineering company has secured a “significant” contract within 18 months of launching.
Zenith Energy, which was established in 2012, has been awarded the contract by London-based Europa Oil and Gas, to provide well construction and project management services for an onshore exploration well near Grimsby.
Managing director Martin Booth said: “This contract with Europa will offer an opportunity for complete well delivery, providing Zenith with the platform to demonstrate its ability to deliver superior performance using our knowledge.”
Hugh Mackay, chief executive of Europa Oil, said: “Following a previous working relationship with Zenith, we know that they have the experience, expertise and capability to complete the work.
“This exploration project is one of several exciting opportunities that Europa is planning in 2014 and we look forward to working with Zenith on this project.”
