North Sea well management specialists AGR have landed a three-year deal to support OMV’s operations across the Norwegian continental shelf.
The firm will provide drilling and well engineering services for OMV’s push into the North and Norwegian Seas, with an option to extend for a further two years.
It marks the latest link-up between the firms, who previously worked together on two NCS well management projects – Chamoix and the Wisting wells in the Barents Sea.
“We are very pleased to further grow our relationship with OMV and support the operator in their continuous growth in Norway,” saoid AGR vice president Sjur Talstad.
“OMV has a very exciting portfolio of wells going forward.”
