Scots corrosion experts Lux Assure is to expand into the Middle East after appointing new agents in the region.
The chemical monitoring specialist is to work with Kuwait-based Middle East Oildfield Services and Abu Dhabi’s Consolidated Suppliers to increase its presence in the Arabian Gulf.
The deals come as the firm announced it had hired Mahmoud El-Hawary as its new business development consultant for the Middle East.
“The Middle East is a core market for us, and we are happy to see our presence there growing, as it ensures we can give the best possible service to our regional clients,” said chief executive Charles Cruickshank.
“We have history of work in the area and are delighted to be increasing our on-the-ground presence to deliver quick and efficient services to our local customers as we continue to expand.”
Lux, which has bases in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, provides chemical monitoring technology for the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry.
