One hundred jobs are to be created at the Sullom Voe oil terminal in Shetland as part of a £600million investment by BP.
The plans will see the existing site refurbished and a new gas plant built.
A new offshore-style rota system will be introduced to attract more highly skilled engineers to work there.
BP’s regional president for the North Sea Trevor Garlick said the investment would secure the terminal for at least another 30 years.
