Oil services firm Aibel is to provide topside engineering work for the new floating production and storage unit which will serve the Catcher North Sea field.
The Norwegian firm will provide detailed engineering services for more than 7800 tonnes of topside modues for the FPSO to serve Premier Oil’s multi-billion pound project.

Earlier this month it was announced that BW Offshore would provide the FPSO for the field, which is being developed in partnership with Cairn Energy and Hungarian firm MOL.
Aibel will run topside services for the vessel from its Singapore facility, after having previously performed front end engineering pwork on the project alongside BW Offshore.
