Ocean Installer has awarded a £500,000 pipe installation contract just days after landing its own deal.
The subsea contractor has brought in FlexTech to design a flexible pipe installation spread, conduct initial analysis and provide support for a project due to take place in summer 2015 offshore Norway.
The contract win will help spur growth for the Aberdeen company, as FlexTech looks to double its staff in the next 12 months.
As previously reported by Energy Voice, Ocean Installer was on the other end of the deal when Fairfield Energy awarded the firm specialist diving work in the Dunlin Field.
