A subsea marine equipment company has beefed up its technology in a bid to improve visibility in the North Sea.
Acteon subsidiary Seatronics has invested more than £1million in Tritech International’s sonars, sensors and dredge pumps to enhance ROV capabilities.
The firm has bases in Aberdeen, Peterhead, Abu Dhabi and Houston.
“We have seen rising demand for the Gemini sonar range and have received enthusiastic feedback from many clients using these systems to great affect under low visibility conditions in the Southern North Sea and offshore West Africa,” said deputy managing director Phil Middleton.
