The eleventh DEVEX Conference focusing on major reservoir development opens today at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC).
The two day event will feature the biggest exhibition in the show’s history to-date. Delegates will also have the opportunity to hear from both local and international speakers about topical industry research and industry updates.
Pete Jones, Managing Director of TAQA Bratani is launching the industry expert keynote speaker series this morning, while Crawford Anderson, Vice President UK Geomarket of Baker Hughes will open the day’s proceedings tomorrow wednesday.
After the event closes on Wednesday, delegates will have the opportunity to attend a third day of additional events, with a workshop looking at cores from different reservoirs and an extended field trip to the Moray Coast.
Devex is run jointly by the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB), the Society for Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and the Aberdeen Formation Evaluation Society (AFES) and is supported by the Department for Energy and Climate Change (Decc).
The Devex European Production and Development Conference is designed for geologists, geophysicists, petrophysicists, reservoir engineers, petroleum engineers, production technologists, well engineers and drilling engineers.
