Industrial technology solutions provider Rockwell Automation is readying to launch its inaugural Aberdeen event looking into maximising process productivity and reducing downtime in the energy sector.
Automation University On The Move, held at the Aberdeen Treetops Hotel on June 10, will feature labs, live demonstrations and seminars covering topics such as safety and control systems, addressing cyber security and maintaining and updating obsolete control systems.
The event, which will include a session by Aker Solutions investigating the complexity of subsea communications, is expected to attract around 100 delegates with entry free of charge.
“Automation University On The Move has been running successfully for five years now, but this will be first time we have run the event in Aberdeen.
“The main focus of the event in Aberdeen will be on the energy sector, looking at ways in which organisations can maximise productivity while reducing downtime, particularly on ageing assets.”
