Technip has landed a major contract for a liquefied natural gas facility.
JSC Ymal LNG awarded the contract to Technip and its partners after 14 months of initial project planning and engagement.
The gas facility has a capacity of 16.5million tons per year (Mt/y) and will include three trains of 5.5 Mt/y.
The project execution plan has already been finalised and the handover of the first train is expected to take place in 2017.
Technip anticipates an order intake of about EUR 4.5billion for the second half of this year.
