Aberdeen-based Electro-Flow Controls (EFC) Group has appointed a new managing director as it aims to rev up its project delivery.
Anand Puthran joins the monitoring systems manufacturer from his position at ABB where he managed the product manufacturing unit and centre of excellence for ABB’s measurement product offerings to oil and gas clients.
Prior to the role, he spent seven years based in Aberdeen as director of operations and central services for Online Electronics.
At EFC Puthran will be responsible for building on the company’s £14million manufacturing backlog.
This will be delivered through the development of management systems and strengthening performance on project delivery experience and results, EFC said in a statement.
“Anand has joined us with a high degree of industry experience and I am confident he will be a real asset to the company,” said Bob Will, EFC Group’s chief executive.
“The evolution of EFC Group has set us on track to exceed our target of £30million turnover by 2016, we need to continue to develop our business and service offering to ensure that this is achieved.”
