North-east oil and gas service firm Paradigm Flow Services has invested £4.25million in new facilities as it targets global expansion.
The company has signed a 15 year lease with MacDonald Properties for a new office and test centre in Drumoak, west of Aberdeen, which will bring together the firm’s two teams currently based in Kintore Business Park and Thainstone Business Centre.
The facilities will allow the company to develop and refurbish equipment under one roof, but will also be made available for oil and gas companies to utilise for trials and training purposes, the company said.
The move follows delivery of £7.5 million worth of contracts in the first half of the year by the firm.
“The new site at Drumoak is our global HQ as we expand operations around the world and enhance our capabilities for rapid international response,” said Rob Bain, managing director of Paradigm Flow Services.
“Having all of our personnel and facilities located together on one site is of huge benefit and we look forward to moving in towards the end of the third quarter this year.
“The addition of the test centre also enables us to provide an entirely new service to the oil and gas industry.
“The move supports the continuation of our strong growth and significant research and development activities. This is crucial to our success as we improve existing innovations and developing new technologies and services to lead the way in this area.”
