Subsea inspection, repair and maintenance company Harkand has secured a contract with Apache for the American giant’s North Sea assets support.
The award covers inspection, repair and maintenance work as well as light construction on Apache’s assets and includes the provision of vessels Harkand Da Vinci and Harkand Atlantis as well as ROV and diving services for a three-year period, plus two one-year options.
The company will also support offshore marine construction contractor EMAS AMC who have been awarded a separate contract for pipelay and heavy construction as part of the same tender process.
“This contract is an important step in strengthening our close working relationship and growing our North Sea business with Apache,” said David Kerr, Harkand Europe managing director.
“Having both the Harkand Atlantis and the Harkand Da Vinci DSVs in the North Sea provides Apache with the flexibility they require.”
