Ross-shire firm Sureclean is investing £3million in its equipment fleet to support domestic and international operations.
The move comes just months after a US takeover of the business. Sureclean, which has its headquarters in Alness as well as a site in Whitecairns, Aberdeenshire, carries out industrial cleaning for the oil and gas, petrochemical, renewable-energy, utility, civil engineering and construction sectors. Some of its latest investment is being spent on upgrading its camera technology, including the purchase of five next-generation robotic crawler systems for inspections and maintenance.
“Our investment in our cameras has allowed us to expand our inspection capabilities. The versatility in our camera fleet allows us to carry out this service within hazardous areas, confined spaces and underwater,” said projects director Alan Stewart.
