Imes Group said on Sunday it had completed UK port and dockyard projects worth in the region of £1.4million.
The contracts, which included work in Southampton and Plymouth, boosted year-on-year turnover by 14%, the engineering firm added.
At Southampton, Imes provided consultancy services relating to the design, production, installation and testing phases for four new ship-to-shore cranes.
At HM Naval Base, Plymouth, the north-east firm supported engineering provider Houlder in completing an overhaul of equipment on HMS Ocean, the Royal Navy’s largest warship.
