InterMoor has secured its long-term future in the UK with a new million-pound Aberdeen office.
The building has been constructed with the view of allowing the company a more permanent base for its operations in Europe, Asia and Africa whilst also providing storage facilities for equipment.
The three acre site situated in the Aberdeen harbour zone will allow for easy access to the city’s vessel berths for the 20 permanent staff situated at the facility.
Frank Burns, general manager of InterMoor, said: “The new location will help us to increase productivity and efficiency by having all of our assets stored in a single location. For customers, the key benefits will be the option to conduct inspections onsite and store equipment at a harbour facility to help ensure speedy mobilisation.”
The development comes during a year of expansion for InterMoor in the UK following the appointment of two new members of the management staff both of whom are now based in Aberdeen.
