Sound Oil confirmed its latest board appointment.
Luca Madeddu has been appointed to the Mediterranean focused firm’s board with immediate effect.
Luca, who has more than 24 years’ experience in upstream oil and gas, will also retain his role as Sound Oil’s Italian managing director.
Sound Oil chairman Simon Davies said: “Luca is a core part of the Sound Oil team and has made a significant contribution to the development of our exciting Italian portfolio. I am delighted that he is joining the board.”
Luca, who is a reservoir geologist by trade, has managed teams in Italy, Venezuela, Nigeria, Indonesia, Congo and the UK.
