Wood Group PSN has boosted its brownfield project portfolio with its latest contract win.
The firm has landed a deal with Western Australia’s Woodside for the engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services on Woodside’s Karratha Gas Plant Life Extension.
Andrew Stewart, Australia and Asia Pacific managing director of WGPSN, said: “Woodside is a great Australian success story and we are delighted to be selected as their partner of choice for this scope of work. This new contract deepens our presence in Western Australian, which is well timed against the local market transition we expect from greenfield construction to production support services.”
WGPSN has also been tasked with providing the modification and refurbishment services for a range of Woodside’s onshore and offshore assets.
The deal follows similar contract wins in Papua New Guinea, Malaysia and Bass Strait.
WGPSN employs more than 2,000 people in the region, which spans Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Singapore and Malaysia.
