Technip has landed an Engineering Procurement Installation Construction (EPIC) contract for the Juniper field offshore Trinidad.
The company was awarded the lump some contract, thought to range somewhere between EUR250million and EUR500million, by BP Trinidad and Tobago.
The work will consist of the design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, load out and mechanical completion of 4,300 short ton topsides that can process 590 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas and 6,100 short ton jacket.
Technip’s operating centre in Houston, Texas will be responsible for the full scope of work.

The offshore installation is scheduled for the latter half 2016 and will also include the design, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, transport, installation and pre-commissioning of several other offshore facilities including the flow lines and subsea pipeline.
